Captain Gobbleton Is on the Loose!

Being a turkey in November is a nervous business, so ours has taken himself off on a tour of DICTATORSHOP instead. He arrived on 2 November. He is not budging until 6 December, which is roughly when he reckons it will be safe to be a turkey again.

There is a new hiding spot and a new clue every day, which means a month of excuses to wander the shop and the grounds and look at things you have not looked at before. He has excellent taste, too. He picks the good pieces to perch on.

How to play

Come to the main store, tap the clue giver for today's hint, then find Captain Gobbleton and tap him to register the find. One find per avatar per day, Second Life time. It is free, and there is nothing to buy.

The more days you find him, the more you can win.

Daily prizes

Every find enters you in today's draw. The daily prize is an item from the store, usually a PG piece, worth around L$1,000. Winners are drawn from that day's hunters once the SL day has closed, and each person takes one daily win across the whole hunt, so the prizes spread around.

Grand prizes

Everyone who plays is in. Every extra day you find him is another chance in the draw, and a bigger prize if your name comes out. There are four, all in store credit: L$10,000, L$7,000, L$5,000 and L$2,000. Miss a day and nothing resets, your total just stops climbing for a day. A daily win does not take you out of the grand draw either. Grand prizes are announced on 7 December.

Come for the turkey. Stay for a nose around the furniture. He certainly seems to be enjoying it.
